Use TorrentLeach in Prowlarr
Search TorrentLeach directly from Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, Readarr & more
TorrentLeach is not in Prowlarr's built-in list, so you add it as a custom indexer — just one small file. It takes about two minutes.

Step 1 — Save the file into Prowlarr's custom folder
Download torrentleech-open.yml (button above) and place it in Prowlarr's Definitions/Custom folder. Create the Custom folder if it doesn't exist.
| Your setup | Where to put the file |
| Docker | /config/Definitions/Custom/torrentleech-open.yml |
| Windows | C:\ProgramData\Prowlarr\Definitions\Custom\torrentleech-open.yml |
| Linux | /var/lib/prowlarr/Definitions/Custom/torrentleech-open.yml |
| macOS | ~/.config/Prowlarr/Definitions/Custom/torrentleech-open.yml |
Docker users can grab it straight onto the server:
mkdir -p /config/Definitions/Custom
wget -O /config/Definitions/Custom/torrentleech-open.yml \
"https://torrentleach.com/prowlarr/torrentleech-open.yml"
Step 2 — Restart Prowlarr
Restart the Prowlarr container or service so it loads the new definition.
Step 3 — Add the indexer
- Open Prowlarr → Settings → Indexers → click the + (Add Indexer).
- Search for TorrentLeech (open mirror) in the list.
- Click it, then press Test, then Save.
Done! TorrentLeach now works for searches inside Prowlarr and feeds your connected apps via Settings → Apps (Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, etc.).
How to search
- Search by name (e.g.
The Matrix 1999), or
- Search by IMDb ID for movies/TV (e.g.
tt0133093).
- Categories supported: Movies, TV, Anime, Music, Games, Apps, Books, XXX, Other.
- Every result is a magnet link (built from the torrent's infohash).
If the Test fails with a Cloudflare / "403" error
TorrentLeach is protected, so Prowlarr needs FlareSolverr to connect:
- Run FlareSolverr (Docker image
ghcr.io/flaresolverr/flaresolverr).
- In Prowlarr: Settings → Indexers → Add → FlareSolverr, enter its URL (e.g.
http://flaresolverr:8191/) and give it a Tag such as flaresolverr.
- Open the TorrentLeach indexer, add that same tag, and Save.
- Test again — it should pass.
Troubleshooting
- TorrentLeach doesn't appear in the Add list: the file isn't in the right folder, or Prowlarr wasn't restarted. Double-check the path in Step 1 (it must be the
Definitions/Custom folder inside Prowlarr's config/data directory) and restart.
- Test passes but no results: try a popular title, and make sure your app (Sonarr/Radarr) is connected under Settings → Apps.
- Need the newest version of the file? Re-download from the button above — it's always the latest.
